考研英語(yǔ)作文-旅程之余 The rest of the journey
There are tourists shipping on the river. Following their enjoyment is a trail of rubbish -- fish bones, tins, glasses, plastic, etc.. They are unaware what they have done has destroyed not only the environment but the civilization.
Nowadays' economy is developing quickly but smoothly. Compared with the recent time, people today have surplus time and money to enjoy themselves -- travel is a good choice. However, to equate the civilization on the road with the money in the pocket is to mistake it. Some people think that they have paid for the ticket to enjoy so that to protect is none of their business. It could have been in any scenery. Though some people are unknowing that doing such thing is uncivilized, it could cause not only annoy of other people, but sometime forever harm of the scenery.
Civilization, which we human distinguish from other animals, is a mixed blessing. On one hand, it restricts people's natural behave. On the other hand, it sets up an orderly society in which each one gets along well with others. But the defection of civilization pales into insignificance when sets against the merit. It is no doubt to say no civilization is no harmony. To be civilized, for us, is responsibility.
